{New Collection} Cute as a cupcake

A while ago (years, even?), we created a cupcake invitation for a friend that we blogged about and put in the shop, but we never created an entire collection. Recently, we have had a few requests for cupcake themed invitations and other goodies, so we have revamped our original design and created an entire collection that is cute as a cupcake!

The best part is, it comes in two colorways for you!

There’s this sweet pink, green and lavender collection:

And then a fun version in turquoise, pinks, and lime green:

Now you just have to pick which one you love!

{Sweet Parties} Mallory’s Under the Sea Birthday Party

Kim contacted us a while ago to create some fun items for her third daughter Mallory’s first birthday party. They were having an intimate family party during a beach trip, so she wanted to go with an Under the Sea theme, using pink and green as the main colors.We used all kinds of fun sea creatures: a whale, octopus, crab, sea horse and starfish.

We were more than happy to start working on this collection because it is too cute!

The party was this past weekend, so Kim was sweet enough to share some pictures with us on Monday.

You have to check out this watermelon sand bucket Kim made {there’s a better picture on her Facebook page, so I could see that the melon pieces were cut into shell shapes} = So fun!

This collection is adorable for any summer birthday celebration, and would also be cute in blues and greens for a boy’s party.

Kim, thank you so much for asking us to create these items for Mallory’s very special celebration. We enjoyed working with you, as always!

Prayer Cards – a Sweet Baby Shower Activity

Yesterday, I shared images from a pretty and preppy baby shower. For this same shower, Erin asked us to create prayer cards for the shower guests to complete for the new baby. I’ve seen versions of this activity on the internet and can imagine that friends and family write the sweetest things! What a wonderful keepsake for years to come. Erin said they were going to collect the prayer cards and put them in an album for Caroline to take home. How fun would it be to share the prayers with your child years later? I would imagine she would love to know what people prayed for her before she was even born!

We can create these to coordinate with any of our shower invitations!

{Sweet Parties} Caroline’s Pretty and Preppy Baby Shower

Our friend Erin contacted us last month for invitations and other items for her dear friend Caroline’s baby shower. Erin and the other hostesses wanted some simple and sweet, but not babyish. They had the best color scheme in mind: green, pink and a turquoise-y blue.

We designed a simple invitation with the requested colors and were able to incorporate Caroline’s monogram.

The shower was a dessert shower. Don’t you think that’s just so perfect and easy and sweet? I wish I could have one of the dipped pretzels right now! Erin told us the poms over the table are now in the baby’s nursery, over the changing table.

I love those large party circles we created; they make such easy coordinating centerpieces. Just pop a few of them in a flower pot and voila! And are you swooning over the monogrammed petit fours like I am?

Even the beverage station was decorated so sweetly. I have one beverage dispenser, but what a great investment to have a few that match or coordinate, seeing as how one usually serves more than one type of drink at a party. The circle banner was a custom request and is a nice change from our square or pennant banners!

I have one more part of this shower to share with you, so be sure to check back tomorrow for a sweet shower activity!

Thanks so much, Erin! We appreciate your continued support and always love to see how you bring a party to life!

{Sweet Parties} Look Whooo’s One!

One of my dearest friends’ second daughter turned one a few weeks ago and Andrea asked us to create the invitation and some fun paper products for the party. We were delighted to be involved! You may remember that last year, Andrea asked us to create the owl notecards for Tate and we loved them so much that we designed some invitations too.

Andrea wanted to use the owl theme for Tate’s party, which I thought was just perfect! We customized one of the invitations to add a few pictures of cutie-pie Tate. {I thought I had taken a picture of the invitation in the daylight but alas I didn’t, and the ones I just tried to take do not do the invitation justice…so we’ll skip the invitation for now.}

There was a delicious spread of food at the party, including chicken tenders from a local restaurant we all love and a hot dog bar! How perfect is that for a kids’ party, right? Andrea had a ton of bright yellow flowers around the house; she put lemons in clear vases for added pops of color. And I love how she used clear mason jars to hold the colored flatware and napkins – so clever.

For the party favor, Andrea ordered those crayon rolls {bottom right picture in collage} in a fun owl print. I keep Molly’s in my bag and it’s come in so handy. Best.party.favor.ever!

Tate’s big sister Rae helped out with the decorations, making owls out of painted toilet paper rolls, fabric scraps and googly eyes. I thought I had a picture of them, but I don’t…trust me, they were so cute and Andrea said it was a fun craft to work on together. Rae also painted on the glass doors in their kitchen. It was so festive and I am sure she had a blast doing that! {I forgot to ask Andrea how easy that was to clean up.}

Andrea, thanks so much for asking Beverly and I create the invitations for Tate’s party! It was fun to work with you as always, and it means so much to have the support of our friends. Thanks, too, for including my little family in the festivities – we had a blast!

{Sweet Parties} Ella Kate’s Whale Party

Amanda, one of our favorite repeat customers, recently contacted us about doing a whale-themed invitation for her younger daughter’s fourth birthday. {Want to see the other collections we’ve done for Amanda? See here and here. We also did the cutest Halloween cards but I don’t think I blogged about them!}

She wanted to use hot pink and navy {LOVE!} and fun prints {like chevron!}, so of course we couldn’t wait to get started. Amanda is super fun and easy to work with and we couldn’t be more appreciative that she keeps coming back to us!

How stinkin’ cute is that watermelon cut to look like a whale? So very clever.

Thanks again Amanda for asking us to create the invitations and other items for Ella Kate’s 4th birthday party! Everything looked adorable, especially the birthday girl!

{Holidays} Easter printables

I finally have our Easter printable collection available in the shop for you!

Beverly created a banner, place cards, cupcake toppers, a sign, and stickers for you to download and print. Use all or some of the products to create a fun and festive atmosphere for your Easter celebrations.

{my sign is printed, cut to size and mounted on two pieces of coordinating cardstock}

The place cards can also be used as food label tents if you’re planning on serving Easter lunch or brunch buffet style.

The cupcake toppers would be cute in muffins before church or in carrot cake cupcakes after lunch! And I love to use the stickers on clear Solo cups for sweet tea {or maybe white wine??} for the afternoon egg hunts.

Find the full collection here, for just $5! I’ll email the files to you. Then, simply download and print the files on white cardstock. Cut and use however you need for your Easter celebration.

{Holidays} Valentine’s Day Collections

I cannot believe it’s February 1! Molly is already talking about Valentine’s Day and the stores have had their Valentine’s loot and decorations out since December 26, it seems like. I don’t know about you, but I don’t love the generic character Valentine’s cards. We created two simple printable collections for you guys. And the best part? They’re only $5 each and you get so much more than what’s in the one box you get at a discount store.

Each collection includes a printable card for you {or your child} to fill in the “to” line and sign her name, 4 cupcake topper designs, and a sheet of 2-inch stickers. All you need is a color printer, a 2-inch punch, cardstock and sticker stock.

I have found that the cupcake toppers are cute at breakfast for muffins or pancakes, are adorable in a sandwich at lunch or in brownies for dessert. You can also forgo the stick and use them as tags or labels.

Find the the girls‘ and the boys’ collections in the shop today!

{Holiday} Fun and Funky Christmas Printable Collection

We just couldn’t help ourselves…we thought it would be fun to create a Christmas printable collection. We used my favorite holiday color combination {well, my favorite of the day, anyway!} – red, pink and green.

There’s an adorable ‘Ho Ho Ho’ banner that would certainly make a sideboard or mantel very festive; food labels for your parties or holiday dinner; party circles which can be used for cupcake toppers, gift tags, tied onto wrapped silverware or to adorn those bottles of wine you give as hostess gifts; and finally, large circles that make fun signs to go in potted plants, vases on tables or anywhere you want a little extra holiday cheer.

Look for these printables in our Etsy shop. We are offering the files for you to download and print as you wish, or we can print and assemble the items for you!

{Sweet Parties} Paige-Allen’s Princess Tea Party

Kellie, one of our sweet customers, recently contacted us about a princess tea party invitation for her daughter’s 5th birthday party. {Kellie used our ladybug collection for her younger daughter’s 1st birthday party in the spring!}

We created this version of the invitation for Paige-Allen’s special day:

Kellie hosted afternoon tea for the birthday girl and five of her closest friends. The enjoyed scones, cucumber sandwiches, cookies, tarts, petit fours, lots of pink candy, and birthday cake, of course! The girls received tiaras, wands, and feather boas to wear during the party and take home with them.

I love, love, love all of the sweet details – and the pink! Thank you Kellie for asking us to create the sweet invitations and some other goodies for Paige-Allen’s party. We were thrilled to be a part of your celebration once again!
